In 1998, my
wife, Ida, bought a new set of sheets. I admit to being a
typical guy, so these types of purchases have never interested
me much, until that night. For the first time in my life, I
noticed the sheets. I couldn't believe how soft they were.
I became such a fan of Brunswick sheets that everyone on my list
got them for Christmas that year! Ida did a little research and
found out that I could become a distributor. I wasn't looking to
do that kind of thing, but I've always felt that it's important
to do something you really believe in. The rest, as they say, is
history.
Ida and I still have our original set of Brunswick sheets and,
despite regular washings, they still fit like new. They are
still the softest sheets I've ever slept on and our family agrees.
These sheets are at the top of the kids' going-away-to-college
lists. And when my daughter-in-law gave us the news that she was
pregnant, she hinted that she'd rather have a set of Brunswick
crib sheets than baby clothes. Of course, we're delighted to
spoil our grandchildren that way!
One more thing: I had long equated soft sheets with the heavy
bed linen you pull out when the really cold weather comes. We
live in New England where temperature swings of 30 degrees are
quite common. Brunswick bed sheets, which are made with a
breathable, acrylic/polyester fabric, are comfortable no matter
the season. We pair them with a blanket in the winter and use
them as is the rest of the year. (During the summer, we like air
conditioning and Brunswick sheets are the perfect weight to keep
the chill off without feeling too hot.)
